A Galilean Village

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

Matthew 4:23

Located northeast of the Sea of Galilee in the Golan region, Qazrin is an excellent representation of Galilean towns from the time of Jesus and the centuries that soon followed. The archaeological site is similar to the towns Jesus is recorded as having visited like Capernaum and Korazin. The site gives a good feel of what everyday life was during the Jesus’ time.
