Even youths grow tired and weary,
Isaiah 40:30-31
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Every so often at church, I have the opportunity to preach. I continue to hone my skill and look for ways to improve. My hope is to have opportunities to share what God has taught me elsewhere, too.
A couple weeks ago was my latest time, talking about eagles in the Bible. Whenever you see an eagle or vulture soaring, remember Isaiah 40:31. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, God has created us to soar to great heights and go great distances. You can find a short blog post on the subject from last year here.
