Continuing with my theme of “what I learned during my spring at JUC”, here is my second (of two) sermon where I explored the story of Abraham being called by God. Despite not knowing where he was going, Abraham stepped out in faith to obey God. God still calls us, not usually to such extremes, but to uncomfortable places.
Drawing from my JUC experiences, I pondered what it was like for Abraham to spend his life as a nomad dwelling in tents.
