I had the honor to once again preach this past Sunday. When Jeroboam became king of the northern tribes of Israel, he instituted some religious reforms. Solomon, the king before him, had strayed from wholeheartedly serving the Lord. Jeroboam strove to encourage people to worship the Lord. Yet, something wasn’t quite right.
